Step 2: Cook Your Ritual Cacao
Begin by brewing a delicious nourishing cup of Ritual Cacao. Allow the rich aroma to centre you, as you prepare for the ritual. While cooking up your chocolate medicine, think about what no longer serves you, and what would serve you better this new year.
Step 3: Reflect and Release
With your cacao in hand, reflect on the past year, drinking slowly and savouring the moment. Write down on a piece of paper what no longer serves you. This could be negative thoughts, habits, or experiences. Take your time with this, allowing the heart opening power of cacao to guide your introspection. Sip your drink throughout this ritual.
Step 4: The Burning Ceremony
Light the red candle, representing the fire and passion within you. Read aloud what you wrote, acknowledging the release of these burdens. Safely burn the paper with the candle flame, symbolising the release of these energies.
Step 5: Planting the Seeds
As a symbol of new beginnings, plant the seedling or seeds in the soil-filled plant pot. Write down on another piece of paper all the things you wish to happen and grow in the coming year. Plant this paper at the bottom of the pot, burying it along with the roots of your seed or seedling.
Step 6: Nurture and Manifest
Water the planted seedling, infusing it with your intentions. As you care for the plant, watch your desires manifest and grow throughout the year.
